UNOH Women's Tennis Repeats as WHAC Tournament Champions
LIMA, Ohio. - For the second conecutive season and seventh time ever, University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) women's tennis has claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) tournament title. The Racers earned a 5-0 victory over Lawrence Tech on Wednesday afternoon to secure the victory and mark the fifth time they've swept both the regular season and tournament.
UNOH won the doubles point with wins in No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. They then won four singles victories in the second, third, fifth and sixth lines to secure the title.
UNOH wins the WHAC's auto bid to the 44th NAIA Women's Tennis National Championships in Mobile, Ala. The event kicks off on May 13 at the Mobile Tennis Center.
