UNOH's Herreros Named Women's Tennis Player of the Week
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Tennis Player of the Week Award, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, the WHAC SIDs have chosen Telma Herreros (UNOH) as the player of the week. Herreros, a native of Spain, was 6-0 on the week, helping UNOH to a 3-0 team record. The junior won all three matches at fifth singles and all three matches at second doubles to notch her first player of the week award this season.
