Indiana Tech Women's Bowling Earns Fourth WHAC Regular Season Win
ALLEN PARK, Mich. - (Individual | Team) For the fourth consecutive regular season event, Indiana Tech has taken home top honors, winning the WHAC Greater Detroit Open at Thunderbowl Lanes on Saturday. The Warriors combined for a total of 5975 total pins to earn their fourth-straight WHAC win and officially wrap-up the regular season title. The regular season championship is the seventh all-time for Indiana Tech and first since 2024. Aquinas finished in second place with 5769 pins followed by Lawrence Tech with 5762, Lourdes with 5727 and University of St. Francis with 5655.
Grand Valley's Mackenzie Calahan earned the individual title with a 713 series followed by Indiana Tech's Libby Hurley with a 681 series. Aquinas' Brooke Binder was third with 673 followed by Meagan Kennedy (671) from Indiana Tech and Shelby Mercer (653) from Indiana Tech's JV team.
The top eight teams from the regular season standings now advance to the WHAC Tournament on Feb. 21 at Royal Scot in Lansing, Mich.
