UNOH's Garron Nabs Men's Golfer Of the Week Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its latest Men's Golf Player of the Week award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information departments and selected via a vote by conference SIDs.

This week, the honors head to Lima as Guillermo Garron of the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) has been named the Men's Golfer of the Week.

Guillermo Garron kicked off the spring season with a resilient performance at the UNOH Southern Kickoff. Competing on a par-72 course at 6,810 yards, Garron opened the tournament with a stellar 1-under-par 71. Despite facing tougher conditions in the later rounds, he posted scores of 74 and 79 to secure a T-3rd individual finish in a competitive field of 53 golfers. This marks Garron's fourth top-five finish of the 2025-26 season.
