Defiance's Theissler Named Men's Golfer of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Golf Player of the Week Award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Defiance's Sam Theissler as the Men's Golfer of the Week. Theissler, a sophomore, tied the program record (68) during the first round of last week's Moose Landing Fall Classic. He finished one back of the lead for the tournament, earning his second runner-up finish of the season.
