Aquinas and Cornerstone Punch Ticket to NAIA Women's Volleyball Final Site
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – [Opening Round Schedule | Results] Twenty-four teams have won their respective NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship Opening Round matches on Saturday. The 24 teams will meet up at the final site in Sioux City, Iowa, starting December 3.
The final site pools will be announced on Sunday, November 23, at 1 p.m. CT.
Action at the final site will take place inside the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa, and will commence with three days of pool play from December 3 to 5. At the conclusion of pool play, the top team in each three-team pool will advance to the elimination bracket, starting with the quarterfinals, on Saturday, December 6. The semifinals will be played on Monday, December 8, and the Battle for the Red Banner will end on Tuesday, December 9.
The 2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship final site in Sioux City, Iowa, will be broadcast FREE on the NAIA Channel of the Urban Edge Network and the NAIA Network.

The Saints kicked off the series with a narrow 25-23 win, followed by a more comfortable 25-18 in the second. Despite a setback in the third game with a 28-30 loss, they sealed their advancement with a 25-19 win in the fourth. Key players from Aquinas had standout performances including Lauren Chioini with 20 kills, 22 digs from Bella Hommes and 16 kills from Cece Pelak.
Defensively, Aquinas was equally strong. Bella Hommes led the backcourt with 22 digs, and Natalie West facilitated the offense with a stunning 43 assists. Their collective efforts have propelled Aquinas to the next stage, and they look forward to making their mark at the National Championships final site, scheduled from December 3-9 at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

In a pivotal volleyball clash at the NAIA conference on November 22, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Cornerstone Golden Eagles demonstrated resilience and strategic prowess to clinch a close victory over the Walla Walla Wolves, with a final score of 3-2. The compelling encounter, characterized by intense rallies and shifts in momentum, showed the Golden Eagles taking control early by winning the first two games, only to see the Wolves fight back in the next two. However, Cornerstone's fortitude in the decisive fifth game proved insurmountable, resulting in a 15-5 finish and securing their triumph.
Cornerstone had a balanced attack led by 11 kills by Josilyn Potter and 10 kills from both Gabby VerBerkmoes and Aubrey Johnson. Potter had five of the 15 aces for the Golden Eagles. VerBerkmoes had six total blocks, Gianna Warwick had 18 digs and Payton Hutchinson led with 24 assists.
With this victory, the Golden Eagles are set to progress to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round, to be held at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
