Final Women's Volleyball Weekly Honors Announced

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its final Women's Volleyball Player of the Week Awards for the 2025 season, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Indiana Tech's Lauren Snyder as the Attacker of the Week, Rochester Christian's Mackenzie Keefer as the Setter of the Week and Indiana Tech's Emiline Wood as the Defender of the Week.

Snyder wins her first attacker of the week honor this season. The sophomore had 16 kills in a win over Rochester Christian and followed it up with 14 more in a win over Lawrence Tech. Snyder averaged 5.00 kills per set on a .291 hitting percentage. She also added a block and six digs.

Keefer also wins her first WHAC weekly honors. The senior recorded 78 assists in the Warriors two games last weekend. In the match against UNOH, Keefer tallied 44 assists, which is the most in program history in a three-set match since 2013. Keefer closed out the regular season and aided the Warriors to their first playoff appearance since joining the WHAC in 2017, while also earning the #4 seed in the tournament. The Warriors hit 20 wins for the first time since 2016.

Wood earns her second WHAC weekly honor for helping the Warriors to a 2-0 week. The junior had 40 digs, including 24 against Rochester Christian, and averaged 6.67 per set.
