Aquinas Repeats as Women's Volleyball Regular Season Champion
For the second-straight season, Aquinas College has claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular season women's volleyball title. The Saints were a perfect 20-0 in conference action, their second-straight unbeaten regular season. The Saints are the first women's volleyball team to win back-to-back regular season titles since Madonna did so in 2012 and 2013. The Saints have secured the top seed in the upcoming WHAC tournament and also earn the first automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round at a site to be determined.
Cornerstone finished in second place with a 16-4 WHAC record followed by Indiana Tech (14-6), Rochester Christian (13-7) and Madonna (12-8).
The WHAC tournament will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 12 with the quarterfinal round. Semifinals are set for Friday Nov. 14 with the championship game to take place on Saturday, Nov. 15.
