Goldobin, Stoll and Warwick Named Volleyball Players of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen UM-Dearborn's Abigail Goldobin as the Attacker of the Week, Madonna's Karlee Stoll as the Setter of the Week and Cornerstone's Gianna Warwick as the Defender of the Week. 

Goldobin led the Wolverines in kills and was instrumental in a five-set win over UNOH on Friday. Goldobin had finished the weekend with 36 kills (4.50 per set) and hit .266. 

Stoll helped Madonna to a 3-0 record last week including wins over Indiana Tech and UNOH. The senior setter had 105 assists (11.67 per set) and also added six kills and nine service aces. 

Warwick posted 38 digs in a pair of wins last weekend. The freshman averaged 6.33 digs per set and also added seven service aces.
