Eisenhauer, West and Horne Earns WVB Weekly Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Siena Heights' Devyn Eisenhauer as the Attacker of the Week, Aquinas' Natalie West as the Setter of the Week and Rochester Christian's Ashley Horne as the Defender of the Week. 

Eisenhauer posted 43 kills in two matches, averaging 5.38 kills per set in a 1-1 week for the Saints. The senior hit .265 and also hadded a pair of service aces, four blocks and 18 digs. Her 24 kills against Madonna were a career-best.

West wins her fifth Setter award, helping the Saints to a pair of wins over Cornerstone and Indiana Tech. The freshman had 11.20 assists per set and 112 total in three matches. She had a week-high 46 in a non-conference win over Cumberlands. West also added 20 digs and a trio of blocks. 

Horne led the backline for the Warriors in a 3-0 week. She tallied a season-high 26 digs in a five-set thriller over Lawrence TEch and followed it up with 25 digs in a win against Defiance. Horne had 5.08 digs per set and 66 total and also added three service aces and a kill.
