Keller, Harper and San Filippo Earn Weekly Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its first Women's Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Aquinas' Mallory Keller as the Attacker of the Week, teammate Lydia Harper as the Setter of the Week and UNOH's Gianna San Filippo as the Defender of the Week. 

Keller wins her fifth WHAC Attacker of the Week honor thanks to another stellar week. The senior led the Saints to a 2-0 week with 36 kills (6 per set) six service aces and 14 digs. Teammate Lydia Harper averaged 11 assists per set (66 total) in two wins to lead the Saints' offense. She also added 16 digs and five service aces. San Filippo wins her first Defender of the Week honors. She set the program record for block assists in a match with 15 against Lourdes as part of the team's record setting 40 block performance. She added three solo blocks as well in helping the Racers to a pair of conference wins.
