Keller, Harper and Gregory win Women's Volleyball Weekly Awards

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its first Women's Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Aquinas' Mallory Keller as the Attacker of the Week, teammate Lydia Harper as the Setter of the Week and UNOH's Bailey Gregory as the Defender of the Week. 

Keller wins the award for the second consecutive week thanks to another stellar effort in leading the Saints to a 3-1 record which included taking No.1 Indiana Wesleyan to five sets. Keller finished the week with 50 kills in two matches (5.56 per set) and still leads the NAIA in kills per set with 5.69. Her 26-kill effort against Spring Arbor was tops in her Aquinas career. Teammate Lydia Harper was equally impressive from the setter position. She dished out 162 assists (10.13 per set) and also added an impressive 32 kills. UNOH's Gregory wins her first Defender of the Week honors this season thanks to a 116-dig weekend (5.27 per set) including a career-high 32 against Union. She leads the WHAC in both digs per set and total digs and surpassed the 1,000 career dig mark on Wednesday.
