WHAC Releases Women's Soccer Honors

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - (COMPLETE HONORS) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its season honors for women's soccer. The league recognized All-Conference Teams for play on the field and awarded individual honors

Aquinas took two of the three top player awards and placed six on the First Team All-Conference. Junior Hannah Crum earned Offensive Player of the Year with 3.08 points per game on 14 goals and nine assists while Breanna Probst snagged Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring a defense that allowed just six goals the entire season.

Newcomer of the Year went to freshman defender Karabo Dhlamini of UNOH who was instrumental in holding opponents to nine goals on the season.

Aquinas head coach Lewis Robinson was voted as Coach of the Year after guiding the Saints to a perfect 9-0-0 WHAC record. Rochester head coach Jenna Shelton was named Champions of Character Coach.

In addition to First Team and Second Team All-Conference, the league also announced its All-NewcomerTeam for those new to the conference, All-Academic Team for juniors or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.50 GPA and in attendance at nominating school for one full year, and its Champions of Character Team that recognizes one player from each team who best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
