UNOH Headed to Women's Soccer Semifinals

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - (box score) - Defending national champion UNOH shutout Tennessee Wesleyan 3-0 to advance to its fourth consecutive semifinal appearance at the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship at Seacrest Sports Complex. The Racers (20-2-1) next face second-seeded Spring Arbor (Mich.) (22-1-1) on Dec. 1 in a rematch of last year's national championship game. No. 9 Benedictine (Kan.) and No. 4 William Carey (Miss.) join the pair in the quest for a national championship.

The Racers put two scores on the board in the first half to set the tone of the match. Camilla Andersen kicked in the first score when she connected on a long ball pass from the defensive half of the field from Sanni Valila at the 15:50 mark. Thirteen minutes later, Andersen and Jackie Gardner combined for a steal and a pass to Bogca Horvath for a one-touch shot into the net. Andersen netted her second goal 10 minutes into the second half on an assist by Rikke Sevecke. Romane Salvador recorded her 15th shutout of the season.
