Marian Claims 2026 WHAC Women's Lacrosse Regular Season Title

For the first time since joining the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) as an affiliate member prior to the 2022-23 season, the Marian University Knights have claimed an outright WHAC women's lacrosse regular season title. The Knights earned a share of the title in a three-way spilt with Indiana Tech and Lawrence Tech a season ago, making it two in a row. It was all Marian in 2026 as the Knights finished the year on a nine-game conference winning streak to post a 9-1 record and claim the conference crown.

Indiana Tech and Lawrence Tech, last year's co-champions, finished the season in second and third respectively. Madonna and Bethel tied for the fourth spot with Aquinas finishing in sixth.

The WHAC postseason tournament will kickoff with the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, April 28 with the semifinal set for Thursday, April 29 and the finals on Monday, May 1. The winner of the conference tournament earns the WHAC's autobid to the NAIA National Championship.
