UNOH's Douglas wins final Women's Golfer of the Week Honor

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its latest Women's Golf Player of the Week award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information departments and selected via a vote by conference SIDs.

This week's honor recognizes a championship-winning performance from a standout Northwestern Ohio freshman who dominated the conference field to secure a major postseason title.

Molly Douglas, Northwestern Ohio

Freshman Molly Douglas claims Women's Golfer of the Week honors after capturing the individual title at the WHAC Women's Championship. Competing at the 6,160-yard, par-72 course, Douglas displayed remarkable consistency across three rounds, carding scores of 75, 77, and 76. Her three-day performance topped the 59-golfer field and marked her third individual medal of her debut season. In addition to leading the Racers' scoring, Douglas's victory secured her the WHAC Newcomer of the Year honors.
