UNOH Wins 2025-26 Women's Golf Championship
YORKTOWN, Ind. - (Individual Results | Team Results) For the seventh time in the last nine seasons, the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) Racers have claimed the Women's Golf Championship. The Racers got progressively better each round of the tournament, shooting +39, +31 and +30 (964) to finish two strokes better than defending champion, Lawrence Tech (966).
Cleary University posted its best team finish ever, shooting 975 for third place. Aquinas was fourth (1,000) followed by Madonna (1,048) to round out the top five.
UNOH's Molly Douglas took home tournament medalist honors, shooting 75, 77, 76 (228) to hold off LTU's Tanawan Vetchayanvivat who shot 232. Douglas also earned WHAC Newcomer of the Year honors for her efforts. Douglas is the seventh UNOH Racer to medal at the Spring championship in the last 10 years. Vetchayanvivat repeated as the WHAC Golfer of the Year for her conference-leading combined score from the Fall Preview and Spring Championship. She shot 227 at the fall preview and 232 at the spring championship to take home top individual honors.
With the win, UNOH earns a bid to the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship. It will once again take place at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti. The tournament runs from May 19-22.
