L'Esperance Named Women's Golfer of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its latest Women's Golf Player of the Week award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information departments and selected via a vote by conference SIDs.

This week's honor recognizes a veteran performance from a Cleary senior who secured a top-five finish at the Albion Spring Invite.

Jana L'Esperance, Cleary

Senior Jana L'Esperance claims Women's Golfer of the Week honors after a resilient performance at the Albion Spring Invite. Navigating the 5,748-yard, par-72 course, L'Esperance opened the tournament with an 80 and followed it up with an 83 in the final round. Her two-day total earned her a T-4th place individual finish in the 22-golfer field. Her steady play was a highlight for the Cougars, marking her second weekly conference honor of the season.
