Cleary's Stoltz Named Women's Golfer of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its latest Women's Golf Player of the Week award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information departments and selected via a vote by conference SIDs.

This week's honor heads to Howell as Lilly Stoltz of Cleary University has been named the Women's Golfer of the Week after a standout performance on her home course.

Women's Golfer of the Week

Lilly Stoltz, Cleary

(Fr. - )

Freshman Lilly Stoltz earns her first career weekly honor after a dominant showing at the Cleary Spring Invitational. Competing on a par-71 course totaling 5,900 yards, Stoltz braved the elements to card a 79, securing a 1st place individual finish. Her performance led a field of 43 golfers and helped the Cougars defend their home turf against nine competing teams.

Stoltz followed up her victory with another top-ten showing later in the week at the Lourdes Spring Invite. Navigating a par-72 course and a field of 69 competitors, she carded an 85 to earn a T-10th finish. The freshman's consistency over two events highlights her emergence as a top contender in the conference.
