Defiance's Gray Named Women's Golfer of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Golfer of the Week Award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Defiance's Madison Gray as the Women's Golfer of the Week. Gray finished the season with a second place finish at the Moose Landing Fall Classic. The freshman shot 77 in her first round followed by an 84. She was one of only two players in the field to shoot a sub-80 round and her finish was a top-four mark in program history.
