2024-25 Women's Golf Coaches Poll Released

For the first time since 2020, a new team sits atop the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Golf Preseason Coaches Poll. Lawrence Tech, which finished second in the conference a season ago, was voted by conference head coaches as the preseason favorite for the 2024-25 season. The Blue Devils received five first place votes and eight second place votes to earn its 161 total points. Six-time defending champion UNOH checks in just below LTU with 155 points including the remaining eight first place votes. UNOH has a new look this season with longtime head coach Dawn West leaving the program for a new coaching job and program alumna Devaki Ganesh taking over at the helm. Siena Heights rounds out the top three with 135 total points following its third-place finish in the conference a season ago. This year, the WHAC will feature 13 teams as conference newcomer, Defiance College, enters the fold.

The WHAC Fall Preview event is set to take place Sept. 22-24 at Stonehedge North Golf Club in Augusta, Mich. 

Poll Methodology: Each coach submits their rankings of conference teams and each team is assigned a point total (1 = 13, 2=12 etc.) which is tallied to determine the Preseason Poll.
