Indiana Tech's Covington Named NAIA 2nd Team All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2025-26 NAIA Women's Basketball All-America Teams along with the 2026 NAIA Player of the Year and the 2026 NAIA Coach of the Year. 

Indiana Tech's Taylor Covington represented the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) on the All-American teams, earning a place on the second team. 

Covington was sensational for the Warriors, earning her second-straight WHAC Player of the Year honor, becoming the fourth player in WHAC history to win back-to-back Player of the Year Honors. Covington averaged 18.8 points, 5.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals on the season.
 
Covington was named to the WHAC All-Conference First Team for the fourth consecutive season. Her efforts helped lead Indiana Tech to its fifth consecutive WHAC Regular Season Championship. Indiana Tech also won their second WHAC Conference Tournament in the last four years. The Warriors earned an 11 seed in the NAIA Tournament.
