Lawson and Huffman Earn WBB weekly honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Basketball Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen UNOH's Alysia Lawson as the Offensive Player of the Week and teammate Lori Huffman as the Defensive Player of the Week 

Lawson helped the Racers to a pair of wins last week, scoring 38 points and 23 points respectively in the two contests. The senior shot 44.9% from the field and knocked down four three pointers. She also added five steals and three assists.

Teammate Huffman pulled down double-digit rebounds in both games last week, bringing her season average to 14.3 per game. She also blocked two shots, had two steals and scored 12 points.
