UNOH's Lawson Earns Player of the Week Honors
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Basketball Player of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, the WHAC SIDs have chosen Alysia Lawson (UNOH) as the Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Lawson helped the Racers to a 1-1 record with 27 points per game. She scored a career-high 29 in a Jan. 13 win over UM-Dearborn. She shot 53% from the field and 47% from range over the week.
