The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Softball Players of the Week Award, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, the WHAC SIDs have chosen Ella Thomas (Madonna) as the Player of the Week and Lanie Wooten (UNOH) as the Pitcher of the Week. Thomas helped Madonna to a 4-0 week, hitting .714 with a .733 on-base percentage and an .857 slugging percentage. Thomas added a pair of doubles, five RBI and five runs scored.
