LOCATION:Weather: low-60s and some wind. The 4 mile course ran slightly short (~100-130 meters). Really good racing weather. Ran a near all freshmen lineup (only one non-freshmen\, Jacob Stetzel) for today. Wanting them to get a "longer" race than what they have been used to for high school 3mi/5k and to get an idea of where every could be first our first 8k at Wayne St this upcoming Friday. Some historical time perspective- while this meet has been a 6k in years past when we have raced here\, this year was a 4 mile. I did adjust everyone's 4mi times to a 6k to get a comparison of team time from years' past. With the adjustment\, we had an adjusted 6k team time of 1:41:27. In 2023\, we had a 6k team time of 1:42:53. In 2022\, we had a 6k team time of 1:50:05. So our best team time ever since coming here with nearly all freshmen. Again\, with course being about 100 meters short probably bumps up the average time just a bit. Just trying to gain some comparison over last 3 years we have attended this meet. Will open up with near full squad at Wayne St this upcoming Friday. We will not race two of our top freshmen\, Tyler Speir (9:45 3200/15:51 5k) and Kobee Beck (16:09 5k)\, until October. Olivet Nazarene looked pretty good today.
