Marian's Boots Named Men's Wrestler of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Wrestler of the Week Award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, SID's have chosen Marian's Tiernan Boots as the Men's Wrestler of the Week. The freshman 149-pounder picked up an upset win over Indiana Tech's fifth-ranked Mike Loney in Friday's dual which decided the WHAC regular season title. Tiernan won the match by major decision and earned his second-straight bout over a top-25 opponent.
