IT's Kervin Earns Men's Wrestler of the Week Accolades
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Wrestler of the Week Award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, SID's have chosen Indiana Tech's Jonathan Kervin as the Men's Wrestler of the Week. The senior 165-pounder went 4-0 at the highly-competitive NWCA National Duals last weekend. The Floyds Knobs, Ind. native earned wins over the #7, #8 and #17 wrestlers to highlight his dominant weekend on the mat. His efforts helped Indiana Tech to a 3-1 team record with wins over #3 Southeastern, #5 Southern Oregon and RV Cornerstone. This is his second Wrestler of the Week honor this season.
