Marian's Hughes named Wrestler of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Wrestler of the Week Award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, SID's have chosen Marian's Anthony Hughes as the Men's Wrestler of the Week. The senior 125-pounder went 3-0 last week at the Battle in the Bluegrass, defeating two ranked opponents. He defeted the #18 and #5 ranked wrestlers in the weight class during a stellar week to earn his first Wrestler of the Week honor this season.
