Bethel, Lawrence Tech, and Goshen Split Weekly WHAC Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its latest Men's Volleyball Player of the Week awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction. These honors are nominated by host institutions and selected through a vote by the conference's sports information directors.

This week's accolades feature a familiar face from No. 13 Bethel (Ind.) continuing his offensive dominance, a masterful distribution performance from Lawrence Tech, and a defensive wall at the net from Goshen.

Attacker of the Week

Thomas Dunkley, Bethel (Ind.)

(Jr., OH - Las Vegas, Nev.)

Thomas Dunkley continues his sensational junior campaign, earning his second consecutive (and fifth overall) Attacker of the Week honor. Dunkley was the catalyst in a massive week for the Pilots, which included a thrilling five-set victory over Top-10 ranked Lourdes. He averaged 4.50 kills per set and 5.2 points per set across two matches. In the sweep of Aquinas, Dunkley was nearly untouchable, recording 16 kills on a blistering .583 hitting percentage.

Setter of the Week

Pedro Aguiar, Lawrence Tech

(So., S - Belo Horizonte, Brazil)

Lawrence Tech's Pedro Aguiar returns to the winner's circle after a standout performance in a five-set marathon victory over Cornerstone. Aguiar orchestrated the Blue Devils' offense with precision, racking up 55 assists (11.0 per set). Beyond his distribution, he contributed defensively with 11 digs and added an ace and a block, proving why he remains one of the premier setters in the conference.

Defender of the Week

Mathis Doladille, Goshen (Ind.)

(Fr., MB - Montpellier, France)

Freshman Mathis Doladille earns his second defensive honor of the season after turning the net into a "no-fly zone." Doladille totaled 15 blocks over eight sets, averaging a staggering 1.88 blocks per set. His most impressive feat came in a sweep of Trinity Christian, where he recorded 10 blocks in just three sets (3.33 per set). He currently ranks fourth in the WHAC in blocks per set this season.
