Indiana Tech Wins 14th-straight Indoor Track & Field Title

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - (Complete Results) For the 14th consecutive year, Indiana Tech Men's Indoor Track & Field has claimed the WHAC Indoor title. The Warriors scored 242.5 points to earn first place ahead of Cornerstone (131 points) and Madonna (111 points) who rounded out the top three. 

Indiana Tech had six individual champions including: Giulio Romano (1 mile), Nic Tozier (60m hurdles), Lyonell Castillo (1000m), Adam Teitelbaum (triple jump), Damien Keys (long jump), 

Madonna's Dorothea was named earned the Most Outstanding Performer of the Meet award for the second consecutive season for his time in the 200m. The time was the highest ranking mark on the NAIA performance list for the meet. There was a two-way tie for Men's Most Valuable Performer between Dorothea and Juan David Hernandez of Aquinas. The Men's Newcomer of the Year award was also split two ways with Kort Thompson of Cornerstone and Damien Keys of Indiana Tech each earning the honor. 

Kirk Richards of Siena Heights was named the Champion of Character Coach while Indiana Tech earned the Coaching Staff of the Year. 

The top three finishers in each event receive All-Conference honors.
