McMiller and Packer Named Men's Indoor Athletes of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Madonna's Timothy McMiller as the Track Athlete of the Week and Indiana Tech's Jayden Packer as the Field Athlete of the Week. 

McMiller took second in the 60 meter dash, finishing only behind a club participant to make him the fastest collegiate runner at the meet. McMiller finished in 6.76, good for an NAIA B standard mark. 

Packer jumped a season best 4.75m in the pole vault in the WHAC vs. MIAA challenge at Aquinas. He finished in second place and earned an NAIA B standard. His mark currently ranks 12th in the NAIA.
