Indiana Tech Sweeps Men's Indoor Weekly Honors
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Indiana Tech's Nic Tozer as the Track Athlete of the Week and teammate Will Jarman as the Field Athlete of the Week.
Tozer won the 60 meter hurdles at the Warriors Indoor Invitational last week, hitting an NAIA A-standard in the process. The freshman from Ontario ran a 7.97 to take home top honors
Jarman won the Heptathlon at the Warriors Indoor Invite. He broke the facility and the school record in the event and currently ranks third in the NAIA. His final score was 5070.
