UNOH's Stanchev Named Men's Tennis Player of the Week
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its second Men's and Women's Tennis Players of the week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, the WHAC SIDs have chosen UNOH senior Martin Stanchev as the Player of the Week. The senior from Bulgaria had a stellar week, competing at the competitive Everybody vs. Cancer event hosted by University of Toledo. Competing in the singles (pro set) Stanchev finished a perfect 5-0. He finished 1-0 in doubles as well and was named to the all-Tournament team.
