Henrique and Tentchou Named Final Soccer Players of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Soccer Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen UNOH's Nana Michel Tentchou as the Offensive Player of the Week and Madonna's Afonso Henrique as the Defensive Player of the Week 

Tentchou scored once and assisted on two other goals in the Racers' 6-1 quarterfinal round win over Cleary. The sophomore is now one goal off the program's single season record with 16 and is third all-time in single-season points at UNOH. 

Madonna's Henrique stood tall in a 1-0 shutout win over Siena Heights in the quarterfinal round of the WHAC tournament. The junior keeper made a pair of saves to earn the clean sheet victory.
