UNOH Sweeps Men's Soccer Weekly Honors
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Soccer Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen UNOH's Michel Tentchou as the Offensive Player of the Week and teammate Aimar Lezana as the Defensive Player of the Week
Tentchou scored four goals and added an assist in a pair of WHAC wins over Cleary and Aquinas last week. The sophomore scored a goal and added an assist in the win over Cleary, then scored a hat trick in the 4-0 victory over Aquinas to cap off the nine-point week. He is tied for the WHAC lead with eight goals and 17 points this season.
Teammate Lezana helped the Racers post back-to-back clean sheets and also got involved on the offensive end with a goal and two assists. The Racer defense has allowed just 4.4 shots on goal per game during its 6-0-1 stretch in September.
