Gannon and Harrell Named MLAX Weekly Honorees

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Lawrence Tech's Luke Gannon as the offensive player of the week and Taylor's Ben Harrell as the defensive player of the week.

Gannon scored six goals and added three assists for nine points during a 1-1 week for the Blue Devils. Gannon also had a ground ball and a caused turnover.

Harrell posted a career-high 18 saves against previously unbeaten MVNU, helping No.10 Taylor to a 14-10 win in its home opener.
