Concordia's Scally, Madonna's Borsos Names MLAX Players of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week Award, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, the WHAC SIDs have chosen Carter Borsos (Madonna) as the Offensive Player of the Week and Gavin Scally (Concordia) as the Defensive Player of the Week. Borsos led Madonna to a 2-0 week and share of the WHAC regular season title. He scored seven goals and added seven assists for 14 points in the wins. He also had a pair of ground balls. Scally recorded a faceoff percentage of 64% and picked up 32 total ground balls while tying the single-game record with 19 ground balls. He also tallied a goal against LTU.
