Fugate and Chapman earn final MBB Weekly Awards

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Basketball Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Indiana Tech's Jaxson Fugate as the offensive player of the week and UNOH's Caleb Chapman as the defensive player of the week. 

Fugate earns his fourth weekly honor for his efforts in leading the Warriors to a big two win week with victories over Lourdes and Madonna. He had two 20+ point double-doubles to lead Indiana Tech to victory.

Chapman earns his first WHAC weekly honor. The UNOH senior forward had six steals against Cleary and followed it up with four against Cornerstone. He also pulled down 17 rebounds (13 defensive) in those two contests.
