Indiana Tech Men's Basketball Claims 2025 Regular Season Title
For the third time in the last four seasons and fifth time in the last six, Indiana Tech Men's Basketball has claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular season men's basketball championship. The Warriors finished the season with a 18-2 conference record, matching their record in 2022-23, the last time they claimed a regular season title. The Warriors were in possession of first place nearly the entire season and they've won nine of their last 10 WHAC games. The regular season title punches their ticket to the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship as they officially receive one of two conference auto bids. The second bid will go to the tournament champion. If Indiana Tech also wins the tournament, it will go to the tournament runner-up.
Lourdes and Cornerstone each ended the regular season tied for second place with 15-5 records. Lourdes earns the second seed in the upcoming conference tournament as they hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. Lawrence Tech and Madonna each finished at 14-6 and LTU holds the head-to-head tiebreaker in that scenario to earn the three seed.
The WHAC Men's Basketball Tournament takes place on high-seed campuses beginning on Feb. 25. The tournament features 10 teams this season. Quarterfinals are set for Feb. 27 with semi-finals on March 1 and finals on Mar 4.
