Bartholomew Named MBB Player of the Week

Rodney Bartholomew, who propelled Indiana Tech to three victories last week by averaging 20.3 points and 12 rebounds per game, was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
The senior from Port Suophur, La. scored 12 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had two blocks in just 17 minutes of play during a 74-59 win against Ohio Midwestern University. Bartholomew finished the week with back-to-back double-doubles against conference opponents. He a notched game-highs of 22 points, 16 boards, and a pair of steals in a 73-41 win versus the University of Michigan-Dearborn before saving the best for last. The forward played the entire 40 minutes in a 69-61 win at Siena Heights and tallied game-highs of 27 points, 13 boards, two blocks, and three steals.
Bartholomew upped his season average two points and added one more rebound per game as Tech jumped to 15-3 overall. He ranks first in the nation for offensive rebounds per game with 4.9 and is second in total rebounds with 208. He now has 10 double-doubles this season. This is his third weekly honor.
