Aquinas and Madonna Earn Regular Season Co-Championship in Dance

For the first time, the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) hosted a three-event regular season with a conference title on the line. Points were awarded based on the team finish in each event, with the cumulative total determining the regular season champion. Things came down to the wire at the third and final conference event in Grand Rapids on Saturday. When the dust settled Aquinas College and Madonna University finished the regular season with 14 points each to each claim a share of the regular season crown.

Both Madonna and Aquinas earned 14 total points across the three regular season events. Madonna finished first (six points), second (five points) and fourth (three points) to total 14. Aquinas finished fifth (two points), first (six points) and first (six points) to get to 14 for a share of the title.

Marian was steady, placing third in all three events for a third place finish and 12 points. Siena Heights earned 11 points followed by Lourdes with 9 and Indiana Tech with three.
