Concordia Claims First WHAC Cheer Regular Season Championship
For the first time, the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has crowned a regular season champion in Compeitive Cheer. The regular season consisted of three WHAC events, with point totals assigned based on each team's finish in those events. Concordia-Ann Arbor placed first in all three of the aforementioned WHAC meets, netting them 18 total points to claims the first-ever WHAC Competitive Cheer regular season title. The Cardinals have won each of the last six WHAC tournament championships and will compete for a seventh on March 8th at Aquinas.
Lourdes came in second place with 14 total points. They finished second in two meets and third in another. Siena Heights was close behind with 13 points thanks to a second place finish and a pair of third place finishes. The results of the regular season set up the order of competition for the WHAC Championships next weekend.
