UM-Dearborn Captures Men's Hockey Title

UM-Dearborn remains as the only team to win the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Hockey championship after the Wolverines repeated as champions with 34 points and a league record of 17-3. The Wolverines won the inaugural championship last year and this year's losses came against Indiana Tech twice and Aquinas once. UM-Dearborn averaged 5.74 goals per game while allowing just 2.19.

Indiana Tech finished second, just one point behind with 33 points and a league record of 16-4. Aquinas finished third with 26 points.

The conference standings were determine by a point system: two points for a win, one point for an overtime loss, and 0 points for a loss in regulation. With the title, UM-Dearborn sits as the top seed in the upcoming WHAC Tournament.
