Indiana Tech, Madonna and Aquinas finish top 25 in NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup Standings

CLEVELAND – Three members of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) finished in the top 25 of the standings for their tremendous efforts during the 2025-26 season. Indiana Tech, winners of the WHAC Fred Smith All-Sports Cup, paced the group with 744.50 points for a seventh place overall finish. Madonna, champions in softball and runner-up in Men's Lacrosse, surged to a 15th place finish with 632.75 points. Aquinas used a fantastic start in the fall season to earn 501 points for a 25th place finish. Cornerstone (41st) and Lawrence Tech (75th) finished in the top 100.

For the third-straight year, Cumberlands (Kentucky) finishes first in the Learfield Directors' Cup standings with 1,021 total points. Overall, Cumberlands scored in 24 total sports, including all 4 sports that must be counted towards the final standings (women's basketball, men's soccer, and women's volleyball). 11 sports were omitted in the final standings – women's cross country, women's indoor track and field, women's wrestling, men's wrestling, baseball, men's golf, women's lacrosse, men's lacrosse, softball, women's tennis and men's tennis - due to Cumberlands scoring in more (18) than the maximum number of countable sports allowed (9). The Patriots took home the national championship in men's outdoor track and field and earned four runner-up finishes –women's soccer, men's swimming and diving, men's indoor track and field, and women's outdoor track and field.
