2007 WHAC Softball Championship Tournament
Hosted by Aquinas College (Grand Rapids, MI) The 2007 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Softball Championship Tournament will be held Wednesday May 2 and Thursday May 3, 2007 at the home field of the 2007 WHAC regular season champion. Friday May 4th will be reserved as a rain date if necessary.
Tournament seeding will be determined by final standings of regular season. All games played on one field, unless inclement weather forces two fields necessary. Seedings will be announced following final regular season games.
Tournament Bracket Day One Games - Wednesday May 2nd G1: #1 Aquinas def. #4 Cornerstone, 7-2 G2: #2 Madonna def. vs. #3 Indiana Tech, 3-2 G3: #3 Indiana Tech def. #4 Cornerstone, 8-6 (Cornerstone eliminated) G4: #2 Madonna def. #1 Aquinas, 7-3 Day Two Games - Thursday May 3rd G5: #1 Aquinas def. #3 Indiana Tech, 5-0 (Indiana Tech eliminated) G6: #2 Madonna def. #1 Aquinas, 9-4 (Aquinas eliminated)
CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT CHAMPION: MADONNA UNIVERSITY * There will be a brief awards ceremony following the championship game for presentation of championship trophies and All-Conference teams. |
