Grand Rapids, Mich. - The women's golf team is in just its second year and each time out a new record seems to be broken. The story was no different in the first WHAC Jamboree of the year as junior Caitlin Duval broke the individual scoring record with a round of 78.

Duval, who transferred from Grand Valley State this past summer, posted the school's lowest score at Noblehawk Golf Club in Kendallville, IN where the WHAC started its conference play on Monday. Caitlin's score was good for a third place finish overall and broke the school record by 13 shots that was previously held by her sister Emily who carded a 91 a year ago in conference play.

Davenport finished 6th on the day at the jamboree and will look to keep improving as they head to Canada to compete in the University of Windsor Invite next Monday. DU will return to WHAC play on the next day when they host WHAC Jamboree #2 at The Golf Club at Thornapple Pointe.  Tee time is set for a 1:30 PM Shotgun.
