Grand Rapids, Mich. -- After a three year break from the WHAC Outdoor Track Championships -- the rivalries and intensity of this championship were still apparent this past Friday night at Houseman Field as Aquinas College took home the men's and women's team titles.
The Saints won the men's championship by 45 points over Siena Heights and the Aquinas women defeated Cornerstone by one point in a highly competitive battle.
Highlighting the meet were the all around performances of Cornerstone's Nicole Daniels and Siena Heights' Caden Conley, both of whom were named the meets most valuable performers for their contributions to the team score. The duo of Alissa McKaig and Rod Waters of Indiana Tech were honored with the meets most outstanding performance (the performance that ranked the highest within the national rankings).
