GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – With weather forcing all but one team off the field’s in the WHAC, Indiana Tech teammates Brittany Bingham and Jessica Williams were named WHAC Player and Pitcher of the Week respectively for March 24, 2008.

 

Bingham, a freshman shortstop, hit .417 over an eight game stretch down south for the Warriors, helping the team to a 5-3 record.  The Woodbridge, Virginia, native went 10-for-24 with five runs scored and nine RBIs including a double, triple and home run while stealing two-of-three bases and slugging .667.

Teammate Jessica Williams, a sophomore, earns her second straight weekly honor after going 2-1 in the circle for the Warriors.  The Seattle, Washington, native fanned 13 batters over 18 innings of work with just two earned runs allowed and a 0.78 ERA.
