Grand Rapids, Mich. - After another stellar season, Jeanette Woodberry has repeated as a NAIA 1st Team All-American. The senior from Detroit, MI was one of 10 players named to the 1st Team at the conclusion of the NAIA DII National Tournament.

Woodberry, who was Davenport's first ever NAIA 1st Team All-American a year ago, was the key to the Panthers run to the Sweet 16 for the first time in school history. Jeanette averaged 19.8 ppg and 6.9 rpg during her final year in a Panthers uniform and was also named the WHAC Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Sara Haverdink and Kristin Bergsma were both named to the NAIA Academic All-American team after standing out not only on the basketball court, but also in the classroom. Student-athletes must be nominated by their head coach, have achieved junior academic status and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Davenport University, under the direction of Head Coach Mark Youngs, finished the season with a 28-6 overall record and repeated as WHAC Champions. They also made it to the NAIA DII National Tournament for the fourth consecutive year. For a full list of the All-American and Academic All-American Teams, Click Here
